BMC3 architectures require end-to-end system simulation using physics-based, constructive simulations that represent the actual properties of various sensors, shooters, and common BMC2 components that comprise an integrated air, space, and missile defense capability. Westar’s simulation and development lab has these capabilities is being deployed to multiple user sites. The simulations allow performance assessment and performance predictions for both live and new HWIL tests and are used to achieve dramatic cost savings to actual launches.
