System of Systems Effectiveness
Evaluating the effectiveness of competing concepts to manage and control complex missiles and space systems is critical to creating systems of systems (SoS) that are effective for the future. By assessing numerous architecture alternatives using a variety of commercial, Government, and Westar-developed models and simulations, we assess SoS concepts and architectures for their potential contribution to the integrated force of the future. Models and simulations are being employed to examine the numerous program technologies and their integration and interfaces with FCS, as well as proposed Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense architectures, the Single Integrated Air Picture (SIAP) and various joint track management technologies and programs.
