As large fleets of aircraft age, and as training burdens continue to grow, creating feedback to improve tactics, training, operations, and maintenance occupies an increasing important role. Westar is the concept developer for the US Army’s Military Flight Operations Quality Assurance (MFOQA) program which defines how data collected from on board sensors and recorders can be used to enhance operations, training, maintenance, and safety.
