Route Performance Manager (RPM)
The RPM application provides the user with a customizable view of the
detailed performance data throughout a mission planning route. RPM
extracts the Mission Planning System
route and details the performance computations that
are performed in the evaluation of the route. Additionally, the user may
designate additional fields to be displayed at each computation point
(such as maximum hover weights, loss of engine capability,
minimum/maximum airspeed).
The RPM provides the following:
• Insight to the performance calculations used in mission evaluation
• Tabular/graphical view of performance data through the entirety of the
mission
• Ability to view aircraft capabilities through the entirety of the
mission
• Ability to analyze performance margins through the entirety of the
mission
• Ability to analyze the consistency of the inputs through the entirety
of the mission
• Through extendibility, allows overall mission analysis (validation
factor--the IGE torque required at any point in the mission such that
the aircraft can complete its mission as planned)
