Westar Wins $40M Combat Readiness Contract

September 30, 2005, Huntsville, AL. Westar was awarded a multi-year contract by the US Army Combat Readiness Center (USACRC) with value over $40M to provide comprehensive safety engineering, loss prevention, composite risk management, research analysis, and information technology program support. The work will be completed at Government sites in Fort Rucker, AL, Washington D.C., and field locations around the world.

According to Jim Marsh, Westar's Senior Vice President for Logistics Systems, "We will continue to support the U.S. Army Combat Readiness Center's efforts to integrate Composite Risk Management into the Army's organizations, technology, doctrine, and culture. The selection of Westar reflects the Government’s confidence in our people and their expertise in this arena. We are proud and excited to assist USACRC in improving combat readiness.”
