William Goss Appointed Executive VP and CFO at Westar Aerospace & Defense Group
ST. LOUIS, Oct. 19, 2006─ Westar Aerospace
& Defense Group, Inc., announced today that William E. Goss has joined
the company’s senior management team as its new Executive Vice President
and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), replacing Doug Childress who is
leaving the company to pursue other business interests.
In his new position, Mr. Goss will be responsible for the company’s
accounting, finance, IT and legal departments, as well as for managing
its merger and acquisition activity.
Mr. Goss brings to Westar more than 20 years of experience in leading
corporate financial strategies, including contract management and
pricing. He previously served as Senior Vice President and CFO of
Affiliated Computer Services’ IT Outsourcing Group and, prior to that,
as CFO of Honeywell International’s Hardware Product Group.
Mr. Goss earned a bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration
from the University of Texas at Dallas. He is a Certified Public
Accountant and Black Belt trained in Six Sigma.
