Westar Appoints Tieszen to Executive Vice President of Operations
HUNTSVILLE, Ala., March 30, 2007─ Randal (“Randy”) M. Tieszen has
been named Executive Vice President for Operations at Westar
Aerospace & Defense Group, Inc. Tieszen replaces Garrett Martz who
was recently appointed President of Westar.
In his new role, Tieszen will report to Martz and will support him
in the day-to-day business operations of the company, as well as
directing and synchronizing the efforts of business development,
finance and human resources.
Prior to his new appointment, Tieszen served as Westar’s Executive
Vice President for Aviation Programs. He joined the company in 2003,
following a 30-year career as an Army Aviator, retiring at the rank
of Brigadier General.

1200 professionals around the world delivering high-value
engineering, software solutions, logistics and IT support services
to the U.S. Department of Defense, allied governments and select
commercial customers. Westar is a wholly owned subsidiary of QinetiQ
