SecureTek and Westar team up to better support data center customers
SAN ANTONIO, Texas, Aug. 21, 2007─
SecureTek Group, a fast-growing company that produces modular data
centers using virtualization technology and thin-client architecture
has teamed up with Westar Aerospace & Defense Group, Inc., a QinetiQ
North America company, to better support its Department of Defense (DoD)
and mission-oriented government customers.
Under the agreement, SecureTek will leverage Westar’s expertise in
system engineering, software solutions, logistics information
management, and IT technical services to support customers who use
its enterprise hardware products and systems.
SecureTek will provide customers with its Tech-Pak solutions, which
are scalable, manageable, deployable and available at a fraction of
current infrastructure costs. Self-contained, Tech-Pak platforms can
operate from the controlled environment of a data center, or be
transported and quickly assembled in the most remote locations.
“Westar has a history of identifying promising technologies that can
help our customers reduce operation and support costs, increase
efficiencies and improve readiness. We think SecureTek has the
potential to deliver dramatic improvements in these areas as well,”
said Westar President Garrett Martz.
SecureTek solutions have been installed in both CONUS and OCONUS
locations in support of warfighter integration and training
requirements.
SecureTek’s teaming agreement with Westar went into effect in July
2007.
