Westar appoints Curenton VP of BMDS Division
HUNTSVILLE, Nov. 8, 2007-- Westar Aerospace & Defense Group,
Inc., has appointed Glenn Curenton Vice President of its Ballistic
Missile Defense System Division, effective Nov. 5, 2007.
In his new role, Curenton will be responsible for managing all
aspects of the company’s services and technology solutions to the
ballistic missile defense community. He brings to Westar more than
20 years of defense program experience, including nine years of
direct support to the U.S. Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and its
predecessors.
Prior to joining Westar, Curenton was a Technical Director with
General Dynamics, supporting the MDA. Before that, he served as
Director of Space and Missile Systems Initiatives at Teledyne Brown
Engineering.
An Auburn University graduate, Curenton resides in Huntsville with
his wife and two sons.
