Engineered to perform full optical characterization on rear projection TVs and other very large area flat panel displays up to 85” (216 cm), the FPM-530-FO uses a gimbaled optical probe to perform measurements while the display remains fixed and in an upright position. This configuration allows viewing angle measurements without moving or rotating the large and heavy TV thus avoiding mechanical stresses and unexpected thermal gradients within the DUT.
